I couldn't see the red flags
Hiding underneath the lies
Your demons caught me by surprise
The way you change your mind
I can't get it right
I just need a little something
You always run and hide
From the truth inside
It's leaving me wondering
And when you said that you were worried
That I was doing things behind your back
It was a cry for my attention
I'm tired of running around
I need a second to catch my breath
Because I'm running on empty
Don't let me feed your addiction
If you never listen
I know that you'll never change
Now my eyes are opening
I'm looking at you differently
And what you took away from me
I know you said that you miss me
(I gotta catch my breath)
I don't need your misery
I know that you'll never change
I need a second to catch my breath
Because I'm running on empty
Don't let me feed your addiction
If you never listen
I know that you'll never change
And I know, oh I know
It's not what you're used to
Don't let me feed your addiction
If you never listen
I know that you'll never change
I put my life on the line
Threw it away just to keep you alight
I'm wasting away and you're burning out
I'm running on empty
I need a second to catch my breath
Because I'm running on empty
Don't let me feed your addiction
If you never listen
I know that you'll never change
And I know, oh I know
It's not what you're used to
Don't let me feed your addiction
If you never listen
I know that you'll never change

Not a fan of the new album but this Polaris album is just what I love about metalcore. Saw them live in CH last year and on stage they are amazing. If you're new to Polaris (doubt it) start here ! sachavonkarl74
Chicago deathcore outfit Into the Silo torch everything in sight on this searing new LP with riffs that will leave bruises. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 21, 2022

Heavy and melodic, wild and beautiful. Not a single song on this album I would want to skip. Same league as As I Lay Dying and Insomnium. Can it get any better than this? I doubt it. Hans Wurst
